Common Questions

Can a 3-year-old really do martial arts?

Yes — at their level. Preschool Judo is built around movement, balance, rolling, simple games, and following directions. One parent wrote that judo improved their son's self-control and listening skills.

Does my child need a gi?

No. The 3–4 preschool class does not require a gi. Comfortable clothes they can move and roll in are perfect.

Do parents stay during class?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay and watch — most do, and little ones often feel braver knowing you're there.

Can parents watch?

Yes. Anyone is welcome to come watch a class and ask questions before trying it.

When is the preschool class?

Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. When your child turns 5, they can move up to Kids Judo and Little Dragons.

How much does it cost?

It's part of the same $60/month membership as every other class, with sibling pricing at $105 for two and $140 for three or more. The first class is free.
