By using snyderdojo.com you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Our Services

Snyder Dojo LLC offers judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, no-gi grappling, and related martial arts instruction for children and adults at 670 Maple Hill Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Class times are listed on our schedule and may change for holidays, weather, or instructor availability.

Memberships and Payments

  • Memberships are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time; there is no long-term contract.
  • Online payments are processed by PayPal. Recurring PayPal subscriptions can be cancelled from your PayPal account or by contacting us.
  • Drop-in and private lesson fees are due before the class.
  • Prices listed on the website may change; we'll give members notice before a membership price changes.

Participation and Assumption of Risk

Martial arts are physical, contact activities and carry an inherent risk of injury. By participating, you (or, for a minor, the parent or guardian) acknowledge that risk, agree to follow instructor directions and dojo safety rules, and confirm the participant is in suitable health to train. Students may be asked to sign a separate waiver before training. Tell the instructor about any injury or medical condition before class.

Minors

Students under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the student's registration, payments, and drop-off and pick-up.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Snyder Dojo LLC may send text messages to people who opt in by providing a phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our website form. Messages may include free-class confirmations, class reminders, schedule or weather changes, and occasional dojo news. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Photos and Video

We occasionally take photos or video during class for our website and social media. Let us know if you'd prefer that you or your child not appear.

Website content, including text, images, and the Snyder Dojo logo, belongs to Snyder Dojo LLC and may not be reproduced without permission. Information on this website is provided for general purposes and does not replace instruction from a qualified coach or advice from a medical professional.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snyder Dojo LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
